Ride in My Life
As far as I can remember, my father was a car junkie. That means I get to ride a lot of different rides back then. Not really understand my father's point of view of philosophy but it seems like he have a fetish to change his car every a few years. Not that we are rich to start off so most of the rides are 2nd hand or the more affordable one. I am trying to scour my memories and try to remember all the rides if possible but the time-line may not be accurate as I don't remember the time and order....most of them.

The earlier ride that I can remember as I child was the Mazda 323 GLC.
I believe I was only in my pre-kindergarden when my father drove this car. It was olive green in color if my memory doesn't fail me. I don't have much memories with this car as my father changed his car again soon after.
The second ride was a Nissan Sunny. The first Sunny was Blue in color and he changed to Sunny again after a few car changes. The second one was Gold in color and looks more modern. My father seems to have a very bad history with Nissan Sunny as both of the Sunny also involved in accident before and it was the main reason why he changed both of the Sunny. PS:- Both Sunny at a different timeframe and not at the same time. The Sunny was very comfortable in my opinion as the seats feel comfortable and the internal looks very modern (at that time). I was a bit sad when my dad sold the Sunny.....I still remember there were a song for the car....haha.
Then there was the 1st Proton Saga. Of course it was very interesting and proud to won one of the first local manufactured cars. It was white in color and weird is the seat colors were navy blue??? It was very boxy and looks kinda different at that time. I was proud to tell my classmate that my dad owns a Saga at that time. I still remember the launch of the model whereby our former Prime Minister drove it across the Penang Bridge. So I guess that trigger my dad to drive the Saga all the way to Penang. Haha. The most memorable item of the ride ... was the hard box seats...it was very uncomfortable for long journeys....I can't recall though why my dad sold off the Saga neither I recall when it was sold....but i recall that it have a indicator on low fuel warning which my dad didn't know what it's mean. He used to say "few morning" ..... hahahaha.
Then enter the Mitsubushi's. My dad used to drive 2 models of Mitsubishi....the Lancer and the Galant/Sigma. One must be thinking that I used to drive a Lancer....haha. Nope the model I was refering was the old one not the latest one. The Sigma was more memorable as it have another lever beside the hand-brake. I used to asked my dad what was the purpose of the lever. Then he told me something real cool, that the lever was for turbocharge the engine for more power. Once the lever is pulled there will be a "star" indicator on the dashboard indicating the engine is on turbocharged mode. My dad used to drive quite aggressive so you can guess that it's one of his favorite car.
Another more prominent car that my dad drove was the Mazda 626 Hatchback. It's memorable for 2 things. One is that it's the most spacious car compare to all other and the second is the plate number 6699 whereby it was very easy to remember. The 626 was a very spacious car and a very stable one as well. My dad and mom used to drive this car to KL for trips and it was travelling at the speed of 180KM/h but yet the car is stable and felt as though we are travelling at 120km/h or 11o km/h.The only drawback of the car is that it have a very "heavy" steering without a power steering option. Lolx, guess that's only fair for a heavy car. But it was crashed by a school bus and really thank god the car's toughness that my mom is safe and sound. Can't say the same for the car as it was sold shortly after that.

The Beginning
It's been a while since I wanted to start a journal to capture all my memories before it's too late but I guess my procrastination takes the better side of me. Since I had just finished my game and felt like do some typing i best start one while I am on it.
I was born in 1982 with a pretty easy to remember date...22/2/1982. Sure a lot of 2's in it. Haha. Very "Pieces" in nature I am pretty take life easy and tends to have a lot of ideas running in the mind but ... lack of execution just like this blog and easy to get distracted. That's me i guess.
There were not much of memories while I am still a toddler and only photos (plan to scanned them once I moved to my new home). From the photo's I can see that I am quite loved by my family since I am the 1st child in the family and 1st grandson as well. My grandpa is the happiest to see my arrival I guess since he is the main reason I can come to this world. My grandpa was diagnosed with cancer and his last wish was to see the 1st grandchild bearing the surname "Chung". Thus I was born ... haha. I was showered with love from my grandparents and pampered with a lot of toys which I don't really recall since I was to young to remember it.
I stay in First Garden for the first 18 years of my life. In this same house I stayed with my grandparents, aunt and 2 uncles...of course my parents as well. As the first child of the family my life was not all flowery all the time though, as my parents were very young. My grandma is the one that take care of me most of the time. My grandpa passed away few years later and I really hope that I did make his last few years the happiest one.
I was very mischievous according to my parents and grandparents and I guess it could be true. I still recall a few of my antics last time. I still remember that my grandma always threatened to lock me in the toilet if I misbehave, then there was this day I was locked inside and I get freaked out and start opening the water tap and spilling water out of the toilet. That of course forced her to free me..ahahaha but that didn't spare me from the rotan.
I will use this site to chronicle my life as the best that I could. Until then this will be my 1st post.
